Keynote: “How to Get the Most Out of the SNUG Convention, Your TAS, and Life”
Keynote speaker Peter DeHaan will share with SNUG attendees the secret of how to get the most out of this year’s convention. He will reveal to them the “Law of Reciprocity” and give examples how to apply it in practical ways while at the convention and later in other business and social settings. He will also warn against the real and present dangers of accepting unexamined statements, what it looks like, when it can occur, and how to guard against it, which can be especially prevalent at settings such as user group meetings – so learn how to protect yourself.
However, Peter’s presentation doesn’t just include convention advice, he will also challenge typical business practices, possibly turning the daily schedule of many upside down. He will encourage you to work less, ask “why?” more often, and delegate along the way. Of course, he will also share the secrets to successful delegation.
However, there is more to life than business, so he will address that was well. Everyone’s life needs balance – and most peoples’ lives are out of balance. But balance isn’t enough either, you need congruence as well. What is a congruent life? Attend Peter’s presentation at the SNUG convention to find out.
This is an ambitious presentation, but Peter has it packed full of practical and useful information and personal anecdotes that may entertain you – and embarrass him. Don’t miss this valuable and potentially status quo challenging session, but be careful, because it might just change your life.
